Its been 10 games since the Montreal Canadiens opened up the trading grounds and brought in some much needed help going into the last stretch of the playoffs. There were 2 goals of the GM Arsenault:
1) To add Power Play help
2) To add Secondary Scoring
And these 2 items have been met.

    Points Per Game
All new players acquired by Montreal are producing as hoped. Four of the five players are at least a point per game while Kelly Hubbard has amassed 8 points in 10 games, but also has scored 5 goals in those 10 which is key to what the habs needed. Although Eric Johnson only has scored 2 goals in that same span, he has picked up 10 assists setting up players like Jonathan Falloon and John Morrow. Mat Snerud has scored 6 in 10 while Martin Hohener has scored 15 in 27GP. The new top lines in Montreal are working like a well oiled machine.

    Power Play Goals
It was no secret that Montreal needed help on their power play and with the new scoring prowess of their acquisitions they hoped it would get them fired up... and it worked. In the last 10 games the Canadiens have scored 12 Power Play Goals with a 25.5% efficiency. Surpassing their total of 18.7% and moving from 19th in the league to a tie of 14th with the Predators and Rink Rats.

They are hoping to continue this streak as they next face division rival, and league leader Winnipeg at the White Out Coliseum.
