Season 22: first glimpse at the Sens

Season 22 in the ANHS is right around the corner and GM Trahan prepares the depth chart of his team. No big change in the roster since last season even though a lot of offers were made during the last Free Agents session. The only addition from the UFA/RFA is d-man Tom Nemeth who inked a 1yr 4M$ deal.
But here's the potential starting lineup for the Ottawa Sens this season:

with a strong return from a big injury, Tom McComb will surely be the #1 centerman this season. McComb who was able to accumulate 99pts in only 67 games last season is expected to pickup big numbers again this season when considering the he scored 162 goals over the last 4 season. Hopefully he'll stay healthy all season long. The number 2 spot will be filled by captain Jason Meyer who had a career high of 84pts last season. At 30years of age and last year to his contract, we can expect from him another 30goals season.
Veterans Aaron Kriss and Jason Godbout will complete the 3rd and 4th lines but can't determine at the moment which role those two will have.

Both Eric O'Borsky and Radomir Brazda got their best career totals last year with 59pts (31goals) and 54pts (27goals) respectively and are expected to be #1 and #2 on the left side to start the season, nothing les than those results are expected from them. New comer last season Brad Snetsinger will start on the 3rd line but will get more ice time this season, especially in PP opportunities. Snetsinger scored 14 goals last season averaging only 10min of icetime per game, so the 20goals mark will be something he could be able to reach. To complete the 4th line, Milan Gajic will be promoted from the farm team in a defensive role.

Sam Herold will get the #1 spot again this season even though he only collected 68pts (27goals). The multi-position veteran will get is share of icetime will surely be one of the most physical player in the league (429 hits last season). During the UFA session, GM Trahan was able to ink 39yr veteran Stefan Nilsson for another season in Ottawa. With 86pts (35goals) last season, Nilsson is expected to average again 1pt/game and will start the season on the 2nd line and will surely see some icetime on the PP. New comer as well last season Eric Lemaître will be paired with Snetsinger on the 3rd line. Lemaître was able to score 12 goals with only 9min of icetime per game so for him as well, the 20goals mark will be something reachable. The last spot is expected to be filled by veteran Mark Polak.

Again no major change to the defensive squad for the Senators as Marek Priedchosky, Marty Voce, Josh Meech and Manny Upshall are back in the Ottawa's lineup. Priechosky got his best totals last season with 57pts (15goals) and was contender in the Norris Award race. He will be paired with Marty Voce again this season as Voce is more known for his defensive skills. On the second pairing we will have co-captain Josh Meech and new comer Tom Nemeth. Meech will be the defensive side compared to Nemeth offensive skills and who was able to get 47pts with an expansion team (Vermont). Nemeth was also a contender in the Norris Award race.
3rd pairing will be completed by sophomore Manny Upshall and veteran Jesse Cook.

Last year Vezina and Jennings Trophy winner, Steve Morrow will be back in is #1 spot. Of course Morrow will be under pressure this upcoming season to perform as he did last year starting 74 of 82 games and recording a 2,92 GAA and .904 S%. His backup will be veteran Martin D'Orsonnens
