It looked to be another Oilers win tonight at the Blue Light Arena when Jaroslav Jirik scored the first goal at the 2:09 mark of the first period, but you know the Knucklers would go 100% the entire game. Both teams exchanged PP's but neither could find the back of the net. Knucklers 0 - Oilers 1

The second period saw Knucklers killer, Bruno St.Jacques break the game wide open potting 2 PP goals and giving the Oilers a commanding lead 3-0. It looked like game 2 where the Oilers scored 8. But before the period ended, Knucklers, Benoit Lebeau scored and brought the team back within 2. Knucklers 1 - Oilers 3

Third period though was all Knucklers, goals by defenseman Kevin Grant and Andrei Kudinov brought the game back to even. Stunned Oilers fans threw litter on the ice after the goal that tied the game. Frustration seemed to set in to the Oilers players. "It was like playing HOT POTATO, as no one on the Oilers bench wanted to be on the ice at this time", said Darcy Norton. While the Knucklers pressure continued, the final buzzer went off. It was going to be decided in overtime. Knucklers 3 - Oilers 3

Both teams played hard, back and forth, and at 9:52, David Bernier was called on a controversial hooking call. PP Oilers.... but to no avail, the Knucklers D stood tall and kept the Oilers at bay, killing the PP and bringing the game back to 5 on 5. We'll let the commentator finish this off.

" Now the Knucklers top line comes back out, Hugo Marchand behind the Knucklers net brings it out, feeds Bernier at the blue line.... Marchand takes the return pass... a breaking pass to Kudinov... he's got speed.... dekes.... shooots.... scooooooooooooooooooooooores. Andrei Kudinov has won the game for the Knucklers". Knucklers 4 - Oilers 3 O/T

GM Lada, " It was a great team effort, even when down 3-0, this team still felt they could win. I'm proud of the boys tonight, but there is still a lot of hockey to be played before the someone moves on".

Oilers goaltender, James Walsh wasn't to happy after leaving the ice, smashing his stick against the boards, leaving it in pieces on the ice.

So there you have it, game four of the series is in the books. Both teams head back to Seattle for game 5 which will be a big one for both teams. So far it's been a great series, and I'm sure more is yet to come. I'm Paul Moliv saying, keep it clean and don't be a softy. We'll see you tonight.
