3 FOR 3 = Added youth for Knucklers

Making cap room for the Flyers, the Knucklers took full advantage. Three players came to the Knucklers in exchange for a 3rd round pick in year 24. Three for a third. Lets hope at least one finds pro ice.

GM Lada, "It was a no brainer, we need youth and a 3rd pick isn't going to hurt to much for three potential players. We scouted them a few times before the offer was on the table. While we were able to fit them into the cap room, I feel we can put them to the test in the farm".

New Arrivals
Centerman, Gerson Bolsius (21)- This kid can skate, and he has a knack of putting it in if he's in front of the net. His face off skills are progressing fine, and if he works hard, we could see this kid in a few seasons on a regular line.

Defenseman, Valfrid Lenngard (21)- Valfrid has all the right stuff, passing, scoring and defense. His conditioning will help this youngster become a steady blue liner in the future. While his contract was a little high, we felt we'd work him extra hard.

Defenseman, Roope Evijoki (21)- Roope is a steady d man. He will be just that if he continues a good work ethic and puts his mind into it. I think he will do well on the farm. He's not afraid to stand in front of the net and makes it tough for other players in that area.

With the Regular season getting under way tomorrow, RW Alexander Grucincev will fill the void while Shane McGregor heals from his pre season injury. The teams morning skate today was a simple scrimmage which put different players together. Wayne 'Smitty' Smith looked good, as he led team black with 2 goals and an assist. Team red had Lenni Huokonen dishing out a pretty hard center ice hit to Tommy LaForest. Both got up and smiled.

So, game one versus the Rink Rats of Knoxville. By last check, the game was close to a sell out and should be by the start of the game.

I'm Grant Miwish saying, let the games begin.
