With a three point lead against the rest of the pack, and two games to go, it is still a toss up on who the Knucklers will face in round one.

If nothing changes, the Knucklers could face last years runner up, the one, the only, The Pith. This club has dropped games like the GM drops his shorts to poop. But don't underestimate this team, the Playoffs are a whole new ball game.

If Toronoto squeaks in, it'll be just as tough. Toronto sports a fine club, and I am surprised they haven't climbed the ladder more with the club they have.

If Nashville wins the next two and the Knucklers lose the next two... we can even see Knoxville or Atlanta first round. While these two clubs pose threats, they may find it tough against a Knucklers club that feeds on the power play.

No matter where the Regular Season ends, every team will have a chance to move on to the second round. This Conference has been a tough one.... so close are the teams, I can see some serious upsets.

The Knucklers have kept LW Shane McGregor to morning skates with the club, but feel if he is going to give 100% in the big show, he has to be ready. With the injury jinx, he's better off missing 2 games then missing the entire playoffs. Who will be missed is C Milan Kostolny, strained knee injury, his only hope to see playoff ice is if the Knucklers can pull out a decent run and get by the first round.... even then, Milan may still sit the pine as team mate Andrei Troschinsky's 48.9% win in the face off circle has been a helper.

C David Bernier is still 2 points away from being a 100 point player, as feels he will accomplish his goal in the final 2 games of the season.

So, despite only two games remaining, the Knucklers still don't know who they will face in round one. What they do know is they are headed to the big show, and someone will have a tough time against this fiesty team. I'm Jesse Short, saying keep your shorts on, it ain't over till we have an opponent.
